How Much Does It Cost?

Dry Ice Blasting requires a large upfront investment, including a high voltage electrical system, a powerful variable-speed air compressor, a large air storage tank, a refrigerated air dryer, and the ice blasting equipment itself, in our case the Cold Jet Aero 2 PCS60, the best and most versatile machine of its kind in existence.

While Dry Ice Blasting is not inexpensive, compared to the traditional process of taking a car apart and cleaning each component separately, it can be considered a bargain.

Every car is different and the cost may vary, but as a guideline a full undercarriage treatment starts at $1,750, with an additional cost of $375 for the engine compartment. We also offer a follow-up detailing of these areas afterward and can get your entire vehicle prepped for show or auction if so desired.

The following pricing packages will cover most cars, yet since every car is different, there may be occasions when costs are higher.
We will advise you of any potential cost increase ahead of the service.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Our Basic Undercarriage Package includes preparation work and up to 6 hours of dry ice blasting. When needed, undercarriages will be pressure washed ahead of the process. We do not remove the wheels for this package, but clean everything we can reach and the results are more than sufficient for most cars that are either being driven or are being prepared for sale.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Our DeLuxe Udercarriage Package includes everything our Basic Package covers, and additionally the removal of the wheels for better access to the wheel wells, struts, and brakes, for a more thorough detailing of this challenging area. Deep-cleaning the wheels themselves is also part of this package.

In addition to the package of your choosing, we can protect your car's undercarriage by applying genuine -- either transparent, or slighly caramel-colored -- Cosmoline wax, as used by Mercedes, Porsche, and other European manufacturers.
